Last Wednesday was the beginning of the Research Week. It was good to have that kind of activity on our school because it helps the students to learn more knowledge from different seminars. I attended some of the seminars and it was all about business since my course is related of the business course. I’ve learned a lot there and I was having fun to listen of their topics. I find the Research Week was a bit quiet, maybe because it was only three days and it supposed to be a one week but nevertheless I still find it educational week.

The seminar that I’ve attended was held this last week at the ULS. I’m not familiar of the speaker but she is very effective and good speaker. I learned many things about personality development and the ABC’s of Image which is the Appearance, Behavior, and Communication skills. And specially why some managers are successful and some are not, why projects fail, what must be the characteristics of managers for them to be effective, and how to create a power resume. The visual are also good because we are able to cope up with what the speakers is discussing. Now, about the activities we did where we are requested to stand up to demonstrate what is the proper standing and sitting where you are applying or in any corporate gathering you can apply. Time flew very fast especially when you are enjoying what you are doing. The seminar really made me feel satisfied because the knowledge that the speaker shared to us is very fulfilling and I can say that I can apply those tips on how we can enhance our personality to be more confident by entering in a business world. This seminar taught us so many things that we can use in our lives. The Research Week is for educational purpose and the one who organized it, achieved their goals. As a marketing student, it helps me to enhance my knowledge. Listening to all the speakers gave me an idea why I should finished my course and why my course is very important on

A closed economic system is an economic model that only uses domestic exchanges of goods and services. The foreign produced goods and services that are bought by American households as well as factors of production acquired by American businesses from overseas owners are not included in the closed model. An example of a closed economic system would be communism. An open economic system is different from a closed economic model because this model includes all of the factors in a closed economy as well as the factors that come from foreign economies. These factors often lead to some sort of tax being paid to the government. An example of this type of economy would be capitalism.…

Oval track racing is a form of closed-circuit automobile racing that is contested on an oval-shaped track. An oval track differs from a road course in that the layout resembles an oval with turns in only one direction, almost universally left (counter-clockwise orientation). Oval tracks are dedicated motorsport circuits, used predominantly in North America. They often have banked turns and some, despite the name, are not precisely oval, and can have unique variances in shape.…

This week included much activity with meetings, rain and the storm that never happened. Monday began with a Right on Crime communications meeting. It was interesting to sit through and hear what all was going on throughout the RoC organization. Then I went back to my desk to try and finish out the TPPF communications project I had been working on since Thursday. After lunch, I was informed about another weekly meeting with RoC, the policy call was also informative and I learned about what some of our signatories are doing in their states and areas. Following that Call, I finished out the day by finishing the communications project. Tuesday started out ordinary and I was able to finally begin the reading for the Thinking Economically class. Then it was time…
