Economic Problem Of Homelessness In America 1640s To Present
Homelessness has been an economic problem forever. During the 17th century homelessness was seen as character deficiency. Those under God's Grace would automatically be given the necessary needs to live comfortably. Regardless of the situation, individuals were wealthy in the eyes of the community due to faith. People were believed to be deserving of their condition. Nonbelievers had it rough because of the lack of faith in God. The community held the believers ultimately responsible for the wellbeing of the circumstances.

    Homelessness in America is more serious than people think. There are more vacant homes in America than homeless people. That should set off alarms in people’s heads. Also, not just old men and women are homeless. The LGBTQ community has a lot of people out on the street, mostly due to the lack of acceptance they receive from other people.
