Paragraph Describing Economic Interdependence
We want to open a hot dog stand. Well by looking at our supply list of needs to start this business endeavor we will be economically interdependent for most if not all of our needs. Interdependence is defined by the process in which people depend on each other to produce goods and services that we need or provide. For one we are dependant on the …show more content…
public for their want to purchase our hot dogs so as a business we have to make sure our product is unique and in demand.
In the same note we also are dependant on the food distributors for our supplies for the stand such as hot dogs, buns, condiments, and paper goods. Note that our food distributor is dependant farmers, bakers, and butcher. All of us are dependant on the electric company to supply power and if we didn't use electric we would use propane and be dependant on a distributor for that.
As one can see as a business we are interdependent on many people for many reasons.

How does interdependence happen globally? Interdependence happens globally because natural resources differ from region to region due to climate, terrain, and other physical traits of the land, country or area producing the products. This happens due to limitations of natural resources such as natural gas in the USA and the need to import from other countries. This also sometimes happens due to a specialized skill set required for a product. The trade market is a good example of economic interdependence. Some countries rely on the import of a product they cannot grow or raw material they cannot provide to create a product they have the specialized skill set to make.
●
Why does interdependence occur? Global economy has developed because of specialization.
However it is specialization that has placed limits on production and services. This happens for 2 reasons . The focus on a specific skill set causes the need for these skill sets and they cause the rarity of the product and natural resource.

Do you think it is possible for a country to avoid economic interdependence? Why or why not? No I don't think any country can be completely independent economically for all purposes. Most countries have something they are dependant on from another country.. Even a country such as the U.S. is interdependent on others because of the scarcity of some raw materials required to create such products. Therefore causing the need for import and export, and trade. All of these determine our country's dependence as well as the use capital resources and economy. Some countries that don't have the capital resources or money to pay a country for the raw materials may set up a trade for the materials for another material that country may need. Often government use this as a bargaining factor when a country has not behaved the way we have agreed upon such as
Korea or the middle east and the race to test and create nuclear weapons. The U.S. government has stopped trade of needed materials to cause a scarcity which if done for a prolonged time caused the sed government of that country to change what they are doing. Note sometimes this doesn't work because of the countries other
allies.
