Education Is a Key to Success
Education is a Key to Success
Who does not want to be successful in life? Success is what everybody in this world strives to achieve, but not everybody can taste it because they do not know how. To be successful you must take some decisions, you must know what you want to accomplish and create a strategic plan as a guideline to get the ultimate results you want for your life. College is one of the tools you can use to be successful because it gives you the necessary skills to succeed and prepares you for a career. However, not having a degree, some people can become success as well. Therefore, to be successful education is not the only way.
Personally, I strongly disagree with this concept that says education is an essential way to success. I think there are many way to success and one of the most essential keys to be successful is to have the natural skill and talents. From sports to music and art, for example, they do not need practicing. They just use their talent from their birth for their work. Let’s me take an example of Rachael Ray, the star chef barely received any formal cooking training, let alone a college degree. In her twenties, Ray bounced around food service jobs in New York City and Albany.
Moreover, to be success is to motivate and willing to do something. Walt Disney became known for his cartoon characters that included Mickey Mouse, for example, didn't graduate from college or high school and was enormously successful. He had the ambition and the motivation to press on and it paid off; others can do the same.
In addition, everyone has to struggle here in this world to overcome every obstacle in the way to success. For this hard work is necessary. Without working hard and just by sitting idle it will be hard for one to get success. Since from childhood and till now I always remember the sentence that my parents used to tell me "to be a better person in life and to get success you have to work hard, the result of hard work is always fruitful,

I think John Wooden explains the definition of success very precisely. He tells us that hard work and having enthusiasm are the most important things in pursuing our goals. We will be successful when we make sure that we have done our best to reach our goals. Another important element is that we shouldn’t give up in our life. We shouldn’t be afraid of trying. If we fail we shouldn’t be discourage, but we have to learn from our mistakes and correct them and hold it as an experience. Sometimes the goals that we have, are difficult to reach, but not impossible to pursue.…

Since the beginning of our education we are taught that we have to go to college to be successful. However it now has become a debate whether it is actually beneficial or non beneficial on applying to college. Such as a big percentage of students don't become successful after college and just end up in debt. Such as a majority of students think that a high school education is just enough for them to get by. This puts a lot of pressure on students to be competitive and continually having to be doing their best trying to be the ideal student. This gives another reason for students not going to college, as they feel they do not portray the idealistic student who meets the rigorous needs.…

As stated above advancing to college may not be the final destination, but it's a step closer. Defining factors of education lie within the student's ability to allow themselves to become dedicated to their studies. Being motivated means you have a drive to learn, however, determination is the act of learning after you push. Hunter Rawlings suggested “The value of a degree depends more on the student’s input than on the college’s curriculum.” Moreover, this is true, but education itself is defined by the steps derived to achieve our enlightenment. Without effort learning would only be a dreadful experience. Since It's about the function of education in its entirety, it is only led by the choices constructed by students. Thus enabling the true definition of what it takes to become…
