Education: Opens the Floodgates of a Prosperous World Bill Gates, the world’s richest person quoted, “If you’re born poor, it's not your mistake, but if you die poor it's your mistake.” As all of us are not born with a golden spoon, we have to strive hard to earn a living and lead a prosperous life until we die. Bill Gates makes a lot of sense. A person can't help himself if he is born poor, but if a person can't develop himself, make something of himself, educate himself, then it's his own fault. There is always opportunity for everyone to make something of himself. Ironically, Bill gates succeeded in his pursuit even though he stopped schooling. But, if you think you can succeed without any education by following examples of successful persons, like Bill Gates, I think you make a very large mistake. As we all know, there is only one Bill Gates in the world. Compared to Bill Gates, I don’t think everyone has the same IQ with him. Bill Gates can succeed because he is very smart, and he seized the rare opportunity. To survive in this world is to get a job and earn enough money for you and your family. In my point of view, human being is unable to live properly in this modern world without education. It is a productive and beneficial factor in a person’s life that everyone has to get. The training of a human mind is not completed without education. No human being is able to survive without education. Education tells people how to think, how to work properly, and how to make decisions. The better your education, the more choices and opportunities you are going to have in life. With that being said, you cannot make it through life without an education. Today’s society is a very competitive environment, and education fuels the competitive nature in people.
