AAMNA EJAZ POLITICS ASSIGNMENT

TOPIC FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR POLITICAL INSTABILITY IN PAKISTAN

Pakistan has been ruled by both democratic and military governments
The rule of law and justice is the only way of maintaining stability in the country.
The continuous failure of government wrong policies leads the people of country to miserable conditions.
The only solution is allowing the oppressed people of Pakistan to share decision making process with transparency and accountability from top to bottom. We need to strengthen our political system and institutions, develop an active and sustainable growth, eliminate corruption, provide timely justice, enhance employment, start steps for population control, seek consensus based political solutions .The political atmosphere was too vitiated; political instability was too acute; tensions between the different tiers of the government were so damaging; the challenge of setting up the organs of a new state was so formidable; As a result, economic management took a back seat in this formative phase of Pakistan’s life.

FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR INSTABILITY Our political parties are in there own fantasy to fill up there own pockets. That is the reason our politics are unstable. Political parties in Pakistan are not working fairly.Because they just don’t care about the innocent people of Pakistan condition of Pakistan is becoming weird day by day we have a politicians and a politics but they work for their own selves ,make benefits for their own selves not for the poor and innocent people .our country is behind from the successful nations just because our government is careless they send their children out of the country for education they should make education better here then there will no need for foreign education in Pakistan .apart from this another reason for

After signing up for this course, I was really surprised as to the true content discussed in our class meetings, and was rudely awakened at the true nature of our education system. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to question my entire time in the public education system, but I am better off for this. The purpose of the lower to middle class education, was never to mold the populations’ critical thinking abilities stronger, as to question the status quo. No, this education system was to continue the status quo, and continue the oppression by the corporate oppressors. We were simply designed to be a means of production, and we now are living products of a corrupt system.…

The most interesting argument of Booker T. Washington’s speech, “Democracy and Education” is that instead of hating the white men, Washington not only forgives them, but sympathizes with them. In his speech, Washington says, “I thank God that I have grown to the point where I can sympathize with a white man as much as I can sympathize with a black man. I have grown to the point where I can sympathize with a Southern white man as much as I can sympathize with a Northern white man.”…

Schools are always influenced by someone, or group’s people, the U.S. and Finland do not escape this aspect either, however there are differences in their political persuasions. The U.S. has a multiple groups of people that help sway legislation of schools, Democrats, Republicans, teacher unions, and other groups. Just as we have such educational policy like No Child Left Behind, Finland also has certain policy that they adhere to. Before Finland was an educational leader they decided to borrow policy in order to attempt to resolve issues swiftly, according to Chung, Atkin and Moore; the policy was MTL or Masters in Teaching and Learning (2012). Although it is unclear in how long this policy will continue to show…

Pakistan is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of natural resources but also one of the poorest among them in their management. The country is abundant in the vital resources including that of energy, agriculture, minerals, population, and geography, but unlike the developed countries, these have not been properly exploited due to poor management. This dismayed situation is caused due to several, both chronic and acute, flaws which have led to poor governance of country since its inception except some brief spells of economic prosperity. Prevalent political rivalry and instability, worsening law and order and rampant corruption have catalyzed the situation to resource development impasse. Contrary to economic potential of its natural resources, Pakistan is a depending on foreign aid and debt, it is facing deficit in trade, acute energy crisis to run industry, and water stress for agriculture, to name a few challenges.…

In society when one person thinks of violence, one usually thinks of individual acts of violence. These types of violence are the kinds of violence most people fear, which causes us to lock our doors at night. But this is not the only kind of violence we are faced with. In today’s society or the 21 centaury which everyone would like to call it, we are faced with a more treating type of violence. “This type of violence is done by groups of people to advance or impede the goal of a social change” (Barkan vii). This type of violence goes by many titles, such as collective violence or political violence. In any society the most familiar type of violence is war. This topic was talked about extensively in class though the use of the book On Killing. But besides war, there are many other characteristics that feed into political violence, such as cults, hate groups, terrorists, police and revolutionaries.…

Pervez Musharraf has been Pakistan’s leader for 8 years and many wonder if he is doing to Pakistan what Adolf Hitler did to Germany in the 1930’s. Musharraf has told many lies since his regime came to power over Pakistan in 1999. The Asian Development Bank describes the country that is in its 60th year of independence as a country with “poor governance, endemic corruption, and social indicators that are among the worst in Asia.” A survey taken by Transparency International said that the Pakistani public perceives the first and second terms of Musharraf as being more corrupt than the first and second terms of previous administrations led by Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Shariff. Musharraf told the people that under his administration the corruption issues would be “cleaned up,” but since his take over, the corruption within the higher ranks of the military and government has only become worse. Musharraf’s rule over the past eight years was supposed to improve governmental leadership, establish new policies, and bring a brighter future for the country of Pakistan. Instead, Musharraf’s leadership has made Pakistan much worse than ever during the past 60 years.…

Since the birth of Pakistan every government has appealed for national unity. Pakistan has run into crisis after crises, each graver than the preceding and unity has eluded us despite all the fervent appeals made. There must be serious reasons why crises should exist in abundance and not unity. These reasons need to be examined. Our country has been threatened by two sorts of crises-a general one affecting the world, but particularly Asia; and the other casting its gloom over the sub-continent. There is an obvious connection between them. Of whatever sorts the crisis may be and whether simple or manifold, the situation has, to be understood properly. The world in which we live is moving towards a culmination, which might be a universal catastrophe. It will not be just another Dien Bien Phu. This is the difference between Dien Bien Phu and the present crisis, between 1954 and 1968. We arc on the edge of a precipice. Below lies the valley of death. Must we let ourselves fall into it consciously by marching ahead to disaster or should we not draw back? There is no alternative but to pull hack. This does not entail a loss of prestige. It only saves this beautiful world from senseless destruction. Pakistan is caught in a whirlwind. As we look back on the twenty years of our existence, we find a dangerous tendency for international and subcontinental problems to get fused together. To maintain the view that crisis is the order of the day, a natural phenomenon of this restless age, is pointless. The prevailing demoniacal trend requires to be reversed. Ours is not the only country caught in the vicious circle of crises. Many countries have been able to settle similar problems and move on with added strength to other matters. The strength to move forward comes from the resolution of basic internal issues. Unlike many…

Scene its inception, the most difficult challenge Pakistan has struggled to meet has been to establish a true democratic system, which could guarantee its survival, stability and development. Unfortunately, the plant of democracy in Pakistan has not taken its roots deep enough to make the country “a durable democratic state”, despite this fact that Pakistan blossomed in the soil of democracy. Pakistan was conceived on the basis of Islam, which is democratic both in letter and spirit. It is indeed very unfortunate and a sad testimony that the plant planted by Quaid-e-Azam and watered by the blood of millions of Muslim men, women and children has not thrived in the country. In other words we have not proved worthy of the freedom achieved after immense sacrifices and constant vigilance as the price of liberty. After the sad demise of Quaid-e-Azam and Shaheed-e-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan, the spirit of freedom movement died down and selfish interests and political intrigues dominated the national scene.…

School systems have tried for years to give us the knowledge that will help us succeed in the real world. What is the “real world” our teachers and professor mention so much? How are we preparing ourselves to survive in a world that is narrowed down by Survival of the Fittest and should we? Personally, education is my escape to a better way of life. It’s a sense of security to succeed in the job industry. I have been told millions of times that nothing or nobody can take the knowledge gained away. Education is a blessing that may lead us to another world which most people don’t have access to know. Education can as well be a curse that exposes new scholars to a different world that was once a wonderful phenomenon.…
