In this adventure they look will be taken at Edwin Hubble. This look will be into three major areas of his life. His personal life how he grew up, whether he married and had children. Also, an investigation will be taken to look into his background specifically how he got started in the field of astronomy. Finally, there will be a look into what contributions he has made to the field of astronomy. Edwin Hubble would forever change the way astronomy was understood. He would also be a pioneer in several areas of his field. He would do this by discovering things that his predecessors had not. He would also be an innovator by developing technology that is still used to this day.

Background
Edwin Hubble would receive a scholarship to attend the University of Chicago in 1906. While he was a student there he worked as a lab assistant under Robert Millikan. After his graduation in 1910, Hubble left Chicago and enrolled at the University of Oxford, where he would study philosophy. It would only take him three short years to graduate obtaining a bachelor’s degree in jurisprudence. Although this is a great achievement he would also have to deal with the passing of his father around the same time (bio.com).
Although Hubble was a tall and athletic man that was known to excel at sports he would even coach some high school basketball for a short time. However, he would get the outstanding chance to start his professional science career during one of the most exciting eras of astronomy. It would be 1919, this was just a few short years after Albert Einstein would publish his now well-known theory of general relatively, this would give birth to fold, new ideas about the universe this had everyone in the astronomy field.
