With the abolition of money comes the abolition of other of our society's problems such as poverty and starvation. St. Thomas More in Utopia explains how money "a brilliant invention which was designed to make food more readily available" is "actually the only thing that makes it unobtainable (More 644)." There are so many homeless people today that can't afford to pay for a meal let alone have shelter. Less burglary for money. Less people getting burglarized and murdered at banks, convenience stores, or even in their own homes. As for the justice system in this society it would be more similar to that of Marge Piercy's "Woman on the Edge of Time". The punishment would be measured by the crime. If someone were to commit murder once they would be sent away for a long time. After sometime of being put away, if they've acknowledged what they did was wrong and have served their time, they will be given another chance with the rest of the world. However, if they commit another crime that takes the life of another human being they will automatically be sentenced to the death
