Why do we need laws?

I think that we should have laws because without laws there would be a lot of chaos going around and everything would go off hand. There would be a lot of murders going around and most might be the innocent people being killed. It would not really be fair on them and the murderer would need to be punished for this or whoever was part of the crime.
I also think that people would not have peace if there were no laws because there would perhaps be a lot of riots and wars going around. People may also start to act the wrong way with others so they may not have any respect for them. Law is there to protect property and law controls what we do, when we do it and how we do it.
People would be free to steal, murder, damage, rape and terrorise. Rape, murder and theft would become an everyday incident which means that children would grow up only knowing this and to them it would be deemed normal, which is can ruin people’s future.

If people knew they would not be punished for their actions then nothing would stop them for filling whatever they wished to do. Sometimes even the simplest thing, like disposing of waste could affect the entire world. If this is not done properly then diseases could spread and could kill a lot of people. The water supplies would not be clean because if there were no rules, people would not have to work because they could steal and would not need money which would mean no one would work to keep the water clean. No one would help us if we were ill and no one would help us if we were in trouble. In the end there would be a break down in society and people will just be surviving the best they can.
