Everyone knows that Emergency Services people risk their lives to save people they have never met before. For example, a house fire is an emergency where the firemen go to an unknown residence to rescue people and sometimes put their own lives in danger. The day is an amazing opportunity for the public and the rescue staff to meet and get to know each other.
I believe that Emergency Services day will be a day for every Queenslander and every Australian to have fun, too. The planned activities will be fun and educational for people to enjoy. For example, emergency staff can demonstrate different types of rescues, tours of emergency vehicles and life-saving free training sessions like First Aid and CPR. Children can enjoy learning about investigations with special detective activities and kits. Emergency Services day is a day that everyone can have fun to see and learn new things.
In conclusion, The Ekka should be replaced with Emergency Services Day. The community will have the opportunity to build a relationship with Emergency Services people. The day will be filled with not only free fun activities, but also free educational training sessions
