With an increasingly aging population in Hong Kong, the number of elderly suffering from terminal illness with no responsive to curative treatments also increases (Leung, E., 2013). From this, it shows that it’s necessary to provide more end of life care services to meet needs of the elderly. For instance, the government can cooperate with some Residential care homes for the elderly (RCHE) to deliver an end of life care plan for them. He/she can provide more resources, like a training program, to enhance the caring and counselling skills of the staff in care homes. Besides, the government can subsidize these care homes more in enhancing facilities for terminal care, like renovating an individual accommodation. This not only allows the resident to pass away in a comfortable environment, but also enables their relatives to grasp the time and accompany with them at the end. In this way, cooperation between the government and different non-governmental organizations are needed in enhancing “End of Life Care” in Hong Kong
