End Of Watch was a movie that follows two policemen in there typical life arresting criminals or keeping watch on gang members in the area the movie is set in los angeles. It stars jake gyllenhaal as Brian Taylor and Michael Pena as Mike zavala they are the main characters of the story. The first rising action happens later that day when they respond to a noise complaint, they encounter a party full of gang members called Surenos, Taylor encounters a big time gang member called “Big Evil” they stare down for a little then Taylor leaves but finds his truck with decorated guns and tons of money. The second rising action happens the next day where they find a house that is tied towards the sinaloa cartel inside they find humans who are gonna
The climax happens when Tre who is a former blood member who fought Zavala and instead of turning him he lets him go which gains respect towards the police officers, anyways Tre warns them that the cartel is looking for them but the two officers just shrug it off. Shortly after all that the two are then tricked into chasing a car down into an apartment complex the climax is rather sad since the whole movie you see there strong friendship pretty much like brothers in their personal lives and in work. Once they go into the apartment they are attacked by the same gang Taylor calls in support but they didn't respond so they don't know when they will arrive, so instead of just waiting to die they run out and make it into an alley however a gang member shoots Taylor close to the heart in the desperation of trying to save his partner Zavala gets shot by the gang members in the back they mercisally shoot tons of bullets into Zavala’s body on top of
