Relevance of English in Present Days Tuhina Paul T.D.C 5th Sem (English Hons) Language is the medium through which people can express their own thoughts ,beliefs,ideas and expressions with the other people.So,that there must be one common language for communication and in this regard English language is very much relevant and also at the same time today’s one of the most popular and communicative language of the whole world . English is the language of England and has international standard . No one can deny the importance of English in present day world.It is the most widely spread language and there are several reasons which contributed to the rising of English circulation .For example – use it for spoken communication around the whole World,it also serves as the window to the Western Knowledge – Science and technology .it is the international link language and also the official language of trade and communication.Anyone knowing English can travel to abroad without any difficulty of communication.There are several factors that make us to learn English language to go through in the current times.As has already been mentioned it has international standard thats why everyone needs to learn English in order to get in touch on the international level.One of the main reasons why English is dominant in the present time is that it is used in the field of education by universities and institutions and it is almost indespensible for higher scientific and technological studies.
