The Most Creative Business Idea

Creativity is defined as the tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and entertaining ourselves and others (Franken R.E, 1998). Creativity is the ability to generate innovative ideas and manifest them from thought into reality (Maenhout, T.
2008). The process involves original thinking and then producing (Cropley A.J, 2000).
Creativity is important in every aspect of life. Increasing globalization and technology effects have resulted in more business opportunities but the marketplace has also become more crowded and competition has increased (McMullan S, 2006).
Entrepreneurship has three central underlying dimensions: innovation, risk-taking and proactiveness. Entrepreneurship and creativity makes significant contribution to the success of firms and to the economic growth of the nation (Schumpter J.A, 1998).
Creativity enables the entrepreneur to act on these opportunities in ways which can result in competitive advantage for the organization. It can provide the basis for innovation and business growth, as well as impacting positively on society generally
(Bilton, 2007).
I think creating a social network around the world was the most creative idea ever. Facebook is the pioneer that brings the whole world in the same platform.
Facebook is a social networking service launched in February 2004, owned and operated by Facebook, Inc (Eldon A, 2008). Social network sites can help facilitate the meeting of strangers, however, individuals are also using social network sites to maintain and strengthen their current, off line social networks (Boyd & Ellison, 2008).
