Ms. P.C. female 65 year old admitted to surgical unit post fall who is pending to have hip surgery in the morning. 3. Mr. C.A. 17 year old male admitted for urine retention and abnormal labs. CNA informs nurse two of her patients are demanding her assistance. Pt number 2 is complaining of discomfort and is attempting to remove traction. Pt number 3 is screaming and crying stating he has excruciating pain to his testicles. ADN nurse prioritizing decides to go and attend Pt number two since she knows Pt will have surgery in am and tractions must not be removed. BSN nurse immediately attends to Pt number 3 since she knows excruciating pain to testicles is an emergency and requires prompt attention due to testicular torsion
