ENVIRONMENT

The Environment refers to nature and to the surrounding or conditions in which people, animal, and plants. In general, Environment issues are defined as problem with planet’s system that has developed as a result of human interference of the planet. The planet is suffering due to may affect people, societies, and ecosystem. The major environmental issues that are facing the world today are pollution, overpopulation, and global warming.
One of the biggest problems facing the world today is pollution. Pollution is a serious issue affecting our planet today. Many people are responsible for it. They do not know the rules and regulations of keeping our environment free from pollution. Our environment is polluted in three ways: air pollution, water pollution, and sound pollution. First of all, air is polluted by different kinds of poison gases. Another, water is polluted by trash and chemical elements. Finally, birds are affected by the loud noise created by humans.
Another major global issue is overpopulation. If population continues to grow at the current rate, then our planet will be unable to maintain its population. In overpopulated country, people die due to lack of resources like health care, food, and water. Overpopulation can lead to overcrowding and poor quality housing in many large cities.
Finally, the decimation of global warming is one of the most serious environmental issue. Many scientists believe that our production of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases is having a heating effect. On the atmosphere, this could be very dangerous for human life. There are several things that we can do the solve problems of global warming. First solution is to stop producing carbon dioxide. We can do by switching from oil, coal, and gas to renewable energy. Another solution is to plant more trees. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. Last solution is to use less energy

The unifying theory of Stanton’s 2 + 2 is the theory to make the audience put things together. You don’t give them 4 you just give them 2 + 2, the elements you provide and how you put them together is crucial to see whether you succeed or fail at engaging the audience. The theory 2 + 2 would be incorporated in public speaking to build up anticipation. To intrigue the audience and elevate them to the point where they are at the edge of their seat.…

Bullies? Mean people that tease you? Nobody likes those kind of people. Bullies usually have a reason behind all of their bullying. Whether its emotions or people at home it's never good to treat people like that. For example, the character ,Julian, from ,Wonder by R.J Palacio, has been developing this occurring rudeness to August Pullman the new kid at Beecher Prep middle school, from his mother who edited Auggie out of the class picture. Another example of a bully is Andy Simms from Macaroni Boy by Katherine Ayres. Andy Simms is stuck on making up lies about Michael Costa and his dadś business The Costa Brothers and where they get their food and what they put in it. Although bullies like Julian and Andy Simms are different in their ways of being mean to people they also are very similar.…

Global warming poses three main problems. These are melting polar ice caps, rising sea levels, and shifting global precipitation patterns. These three things pose major threats to the environment and if not controlled could cause threats to humans as a whole. Air pollution also has the potential to damage vegetation and water supply, through acid deposition, in a certain area. Acid deposition is tiny droplets of sulfuric acid and nitric acid as a result of the burning of fossil fuels.…

The problem with global warming is that when CO2 and other heat-trapping emissions are released into the air, they act like a blanket, holding heat in our atmosphere and warming the planet. Overloading our atmosphere with carbon has far-reaching effects for people all around the world, including rising sea levels, increasing wildfires, more extreme weather, deadly heat waves, and more severe droughts ("Global Warming", 2013). Human activity is the biggest contributor to global warming, for example when we use fossil fuel we are releasing CO2 into the air from our vehicles and when we use it to generate electricity, CO2 can also be released when we cause deforestation. According to Gale (2013), “Crowded landfills, polluted water, and poor air quality are just a few of the environmental problems that affect both industrial and developing nations. Perhaps less obvious but no less ominous a threat to the environment is the general increase in temperatures worldwide and the resulting climate changes. This phenomenon, known as global warming, could have serious negative effects on humans and all other living things on Earth. Global warming is a complex problem, and governments have had great difficulty deciding how to…

Environmental issues today are being misused to set up protectionist trade regimes that will selectively benefit the industrialized nations. This trend, being initiated by the World Trade Organization (WTO) and supported by the developed nations, must be resisted by the developing countries. The problems of the Environment will have to be seen in a genuine, not trade distorted context if any efforts are to be made to conserve what remains on the planet. As a matter of fact, a discussion on Environmental issuesmatters is not within the purview of the WTO. Actually it is not even equipped to deal with these issues. There are separate international bodies to discuss the environment, as there are to discuss all the other factors that the GATT/WTO is trying to appropriate, such as the intellectual property rights and labor standards. So this was an essay on Environmental issues.…

The introduction of foreign species to Hawaii has greatly affected the populations of the islands’ native species. In many cases, the introduction of foreign species has wiped out the entire population of certain species, rendering them extinct. This is especially devastating because many of these species are endemic, meaning they are found only in one particular location and nowhere else in the world. The majority of species living in Hawaii are the result of thousands of years of island biodiversity. A few birds of one species migrate from some distant island due to some rare occurrence of nature and eventually evolve into several new species, each perfectly adapted to the environment in which it has come to live. Unfortunately, each of these endemic species is especially susceptible to the effects of invasive species, which means the impact on Hawaii’s animal life has been tremendous.…

    1. Coastal landscapes are being transformed as a consequence of the increasing demand for urban infrastructure to sustain commercial, residential and tourist activities. A variety of man-made structures, such as breakwaters, jetties and seawalls have thus become ubiquitous features of intertidal and shallow subtidal habitats. This transformation will accelerate in response to the exponential growth of human populations and to global changes, such as sea-level rise and increased frequency of extreme meteorological events (e.g. storms). Here, we provide a critical overview of the major ecological effects of increasing infrastructure to marine habitats, we identify future research directions for advancing our understanding of marine urban ecosystems and we highlight how alternative management options might mitigate their impacts.…
