There are two types of Epics in David’s world, and they might just be the turning point to David’s ultimate goal. The first type of Epics are known as gifters. Based on the information from the book, gifters have more of a kind personality than any other Epics. Gifters usually only use their powers on someone or something other than themselves. Due to the fact that they don't use their powers for themselves, they don't get frustrated or annoyed very easily like other Epics.
