Although they could be the same, the chance that they are the same is somewhat slim. Like some people find pleasure in dancing and cheerleading, and they not only make themselves happy but some people find satisfaction in just watching them dance or cheer. One thing that gives me pleasure is watching the gymnastics part of the olympics, although it comes on every four years I still get so much happiness from watching others pursue their dreams at a worldwide event. Just like some people find pleasure and happiness when they watch their favorite sports team and get extremely aroused by the fact that they won. I just have to wait a little bit longer for my “Happiness.” I suppose if I were to say what my actual pleasure was, it would be music, singing and piano mainly. I’ve been singing and playing for quite a long time and everytime I do either one of them I feel so content inside. Like if I'm having a terrible day I’ll go and play a little song on the piano and just feel so much happiness inside. Even my desire to learn new songs are pleasurable because in the end I will end up knowing how to play a whole song on my own. One would be that happiness is pleasure and all things we do are for the sake of achieving the feelings that come along with pleasure. Two is that there really is necessary and unnecessary desires that we will encounter in our lives as humans, and is our mission to determine which is which. Happiness isn’t something that you can’t find while being isolated, most likely your happiness will be found in society where other people can help you discover what your happiness is. Lastly is that happiness isn’t just the pursuit of pleasure but to relieve yourself from any type of pain that you or others may suffer from.
