Equality In A Dystopian Society Essay

In a distant society, there was a young, handsome boy named Equality 7-2521. Equality had everything, he was very handsome and was high above the average in his intelligence, the society Equality lived in though, did not accept that. The society promoted absolute equality to the extent of banning the word “I” and replacing it with “we”. The society deemed Equality’s advantages a curse “We were born with a curse. It has always driven us to thoughts which are forbidden. It has always given us wishes which men may not wish. We know that we are evil, but there is no will in us and no power to resist it. This is our wonder and our secret fear, that we know and do not resist.”

Equality grew aware of the unrighteousness and began to oppose it using his own intelligence, motivated by his own curiosity. Although prohibited by law, Equality 7-2521 kept a diary and invented. Equality has always wanted to learn everything about the world and the mysteries it contains. At some point, he discovered electric light and seemed to completely understand the usefulness of science as a tool. The motivation behind our advancements is our curiosity. It has come to my realization that the character Equality represents a well known physicist, Albert Einstein. Albert Einstein and Equality were both outcasts, they were both abnormally smart. Albert Einstein, motivated by his own curiosity own curiosity, created many theories, such as the theory of relativity. Equality on the other hand, discovered the power of electricity. Using Albert Einstein’s work, the world as a whole progressed greatly in the understanding of
