Erasmuslife Case Study
Key Resources
ErasmusLife would need different resources to carry out the business, reach a great number of students, make some revenue and finally spread it service to the biggest number of countries that we can. Our resources can be categorised as follow:
Physical
Our service would be work online, on a web page and on an app, and because of that we would not need a lot of physical requirement, although we would need a space to work that would allow as to develop the app and the webpage, collect the data, and to have meetings with the companies and institutions that will give us the information and would want to be advertised online on our web site or app. Also, big enough to hold our servers and all the workers specially the IT team that

These costs have to be added to other cost like for example the marketing ones that are needed to be known. We calculate that ErasmusLife would require around €100,000 as initial investment. Key Activities
ErasmusLife needs to do a lot of work to start the business and deliver the service for which this platform is intended. With the activities carried out, it is intended that the application be globally recognized, that it be used by those students who want to study abroad and that it is useful for them while they live in a different country.
Collect data
First of all, to create the platform ErasmusLife, we need to collect all the possible data that we would need to show on the web page and the app. We will collect this information from different resources specially from web pages on the Internet (forums, blogs, social networks…), word of mouth, our personal experience and other students

Because of that, we would create them with the necessary technical knowledge and split it in different sections (activities, accommodation, means of transports, comments from other students...). These sections would make the information to be found faster and easily. Both the web page and the app would hold all the useful information, so the students would need a well-structured and clear web page to find that information, but also ask their questions about studying abroad. After that we would need to promote our platform through social media, universities and other students and to find other companies that would like to promote their services in our platform as a source of financing
