IMPORTANT NOTE ON HYBRID COURSE STATUS
This is a “hybrid” course. This means that the actual time you spend in class will be approximately half that of a traditional course. In other words, although this class would normally meet twice a week, you will only meet once per week. The other half of the course takes place online, asynchronously – which means you can work at your own pace as long as you meet the deadlines for the assignments. The hybrid format gives students more control over their schedule but is equally as demanding as a traditional course and therefore requires self-motivation, initiative, and strong time-management skills to succeed.
