It was said that henry could position his audience to anger, fear or laughter more sudden then professional actors. He showed this talent in his Speech at the Virginia Conventiomn. The most popular poets and writers uses multiple techniques and strategies to grasp their audience attention. The rhetorical devices include pathos, that appeals to emotion, ethos, which means authority, logos introduces logic. Many revolunist uses the rhetorical triangle, which is “the art of enchanting the soul” (plato). Arthur Miller uses these styles as well in his play The Crucible.
