Immigration policies can do a two things for America it can make America better or worse. Immigrants made America just think about where we would be without immigration, we probably wouldn’t be here in a wonderful place of freedom. Two immigration policies I thought would be very effective are If we make it harder to migrate to America make it easier to become an American citizen, and the other is that any immigrant should have the same opportunity as anyone else in the U.S. The U.S. was built by immigrants everything we use today had evolved from something ancient that immigrants created. If we are gonna build walls, and make bans to ban certain countries to come from the U.S.we should at least make it easier to become a Citizen. Two all immigrants should have all of the same rights of anyone else that is an American citizen. In the U.S. constitution the very first amendment states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” This means that you can’t make laws that go against people's religion or culture, race or things of that sort. Just think about all of the families that are struggling because of this travel ban some people won’t be able to go to funerals if someone dies or even get together when something happens. To enforce these policies, I will create posts, and pages on social media, i will raise awareness, i will speak in public, i will do whatever I can within my power peacefully to Pass these policies. Also just think about if these policies get passed, we can Make America Great
