Small Pox was considered one of the deasliest disease killers, especially in children. In his expereiment, Dr.
Jenner would insert pus from cowpus postule into a cut on a child’s arm to see if would end the spread of small pox. His expereiment ended up becoming a great success. Jenner’s manififient work became famous and published as well in the year 1796. In my opinion, there are many reasons to protect children through the use of vaccinations.

Measels is caused by a virus and may lead to seizures, brain damage, or even death. The disease Mumps is caused by a virus and can lead to heaing loss and brain or spinal cord infection. The Whoping cough develops from bacteria and spreads through the air from coughing and consistent seizing. Certain illnesses may cause a child to end up with a leg or arm removed.
