Types of bipolar disorder:
• Bipolar I: Episodes from manic to depressive, usually lasts at least 7 days (manic) or 2 weeks (depressive).
• Bipolar II: Hypomania (milder version of mania) episodes and severe depression.
• Cyclothymic: A milder version of bipolar disorder. Usually involves hypomania and several depressive episodes.
Symptoms of bipolar disorder:
There are 2 episodes, manic (or mania), and depressive.
People can experience both (manic & depressive) at the same time.
They can also experience some hallucinations during their episodes.
