Events will never look the same to me. The physical tickets, marketing emails, radio spots from the University all have new meaning behind them. Aside from the fact of that want me to come to the game what does the message really say, really what is the who, what where and why. These are things I never thought about, until now. Not only will the lead up to events never look the same, I am now more aware of sporting events. Security, advertisements, tv commercials, even where bathrooms are located, everything now has a new meaning and the game I watched this week proves that. I will be out of town for the final Arizona home football game so this observation report will be about the Florida State and Clemson game. As well as notes and tidbits from the other Arizona games I attended. Though my main focus will be Florida State vs Clemson, which just recently was announced the top ranked team in the College Football Playoff rankings which is a huge boost to the school and something i'm sure will be mentioned during the broadcast hundreds of times. One of the commercials that stood out to me was a brief feature for Clemson’s new football practice facility that will also house new offices for coaches and staff. It was not your typical commercial but just the announcers talking about the new facility with renderings and the groundbreaking ceremony happening on screen. From what I have seen their is alot going on behind the screen as the University of doing everything it is capable of to boost its reputation and attract future students and fans of the University.
