Former Pittsburg Steeler, Mike Webster, suffers from CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) This is brought on by two or more decades of brain battery in the field. Mike Webster played the center for the Pittsburg Steelers. Some side effects former players claim they feel are numbness and tingling, neck or cervical spine arthritis and difficulty with memory. If a player were to receive a concussion or show concussion like symptoms they are to be removed from the field of play immediately. Many players have complained that they were forced to play, although their coaches were aware that they have received a concussion.
