Coronary heart disease is a disease in which a waxy substance called plaque builds up inside the coronary arteries. These arteries supply oxygen-rich blood to your heart muscle.
When plaque builds up in the arteries, the condition is called atherosclerosis
Symptoms:
Symptoms include
• Shortness of breathe
• Irregular heart beats
• A faster heartbeat
• Weakness or dizziness
• Nausea
• Sweating
Causes:
Coronary heart disease starts when certain factors damage the inner layers of the coronary arteries
• Smoking
• High blood pressure
• High levels of sugar in the blood due to insulin resistance or diabetes
• Blood vessel inflammation
And the main cause of coronary heart disease being high levels of cholesterol

Treatment:
Although coronary heart disease cannot be cured, treatment can help manage the symptoms and reduce the risk of further problems.
Treatment can be tackled in 3 ways:
1. Lifestyle changes, which include eating more healthy, regular exercise and stop smoking
2. Medication, many different medicines are used for treatment usually they either aim to reduce blood pressure or widen your arteries.
3. Surgery and procedures, if your symptoms cannot be controlled using medication a surgery may be need to open up/bypass the blocked
