The Dachau Concentration Camp was the first camp established in March 1933.It became the first concentration camp made by the Nazis. It was placed by a munitions factory by the city Dachau. It is nearly 10 miles from Munich, Germany. In the first year there were 4,800 prisoners. The first prisoners were German Communists, Social Democrats, Trade Unionists, and other opponents of the Nazis.
