The home of Mr. and Mrs. Jones 1305 E. 348 St. I was advised that Mrs. Jones was thrown to the ground and punched in the face by her husband Mr. Jones, they also state that the couple is currently separated. There was also a second call to 911 placed by a possible witness. On my direct route to the home a red pickup truck is backing out of a nearby driveway, and children are running across the street. The couple across the street is also watching out the front window. As I pull up to the residence a woman is sitting on the front porch crying. Two men are in the back yard talking with each other. I approach the woman on the porch and notice the injuries on her face and arms. She has a red left eye and a bleeding lower lip as well as multiple small cuts on both arms. She is identified as Mary Sue Jones and that she is the one who calls the police. Mrs. Jones states they began arguing over her husband Mr. Paul Jones’ excessive drinking, she also stated that they were fine at my arrival and that her husband is in the backyard. I asked Mrs. Jones how she received her injuries. She goes on to say that she was injured by falling the through the coffee table and that Mr. Jones has punched her twice in the face, and that the argument started in the living room area. I asked her to show me, I noticed that the coffee table is broken with shattered glass around it. As well as a lamp knocked to the floor, the couch has empty beer bottles and half empty bottle of rum.
