John Wayne Gacy Jr, also known as the killer clown Was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 17th, 1942. He was an american serial killer and rapist who sexually assaulted and murdered at least 33 teenage boys and young men between 1972 and 1978 in Cook County, Illinois. He was the only boy and the second of 3 children. His parents were John Wayne Gacy Sr world war 1 veteran and Marion Elaine Robinson. As a child he was often belittled by his father. There was verbal and physical abuse going on. When Gacy was six , he stole a toy truck from a neighborhood store. His mother made him walk back to the store to return it and to apologize. Gacy took a management trainee position within the Nunn-Bush Shoe Company which transferred Gacy to Springfield, Illinois in 1974 where he became engaged to Marlynn Myer in March. One week before his wedding , he was arrested and charged with aggravated battery and reckless conduct in response to a complaint by a teen named Jackie Dee. The complaint stated that Gacy was impersonating a police officer flashing a sheriff's badge in attempt to lure him to his car, where he forced the teen to perform oral sex.
