Although their plan goes well at the beginning, the more involved they become, the harder it becomes to avoid suspicion. After several gruesome murders, Lady Macbeth begins to feel the guilt. She is eventually seen washing blood off of her hands while sleepwalking while talking about the murders. Eventually, the guilt she felt caught up with her and she commited suicide (Suicide act 5 Scene 5). Also, the ambition that she drilled into her husband also resulted in his downfall. By the end, he was completely driven by his ambition and would not let anything stand in his way. He eventually can no longer cover up his crimes and is killed by Macduff, loyal to Duncan and Malcolm, in a battle in front of his castle.
In conclusion, Lady Macbeth is an extremely evil character. Throughout the story, the only thing she cares about is power and becoming the queen. In order to achieve her goal, she is willing to take advantage of the love of her husband. Not only does she take advantage of love, she also is a fake. She will commit sinful acts and then put on an elaborate show to convince others that she is innocent. Although her plan was well thought out, her ambition ultimately caused her to fail. Her influence on her husband as well as the murder of the king eventually expose her evil character and lead to her families
