Firstly, Malala had to fight very hard to gain her rights to even speak up. Today, millions of people are impacted for her brave actions. She was winning in her battle for her freedom when she was shot by the Talibans creating a harsher environment for her, Malala had support for what she did, she was changing the world. The novel explains her journey with hardships to change what was destroyed. On the first page of the novel she explains that she had to departure Pakistan because the gunfire was so brutal that it was a miracle she lived. Malala knew that she wanted to be able to learn, she saw the big picture and she was able to reach her goal. She kept fighting no matter what the cost is at the end it's all worth it, despite what occurred, Malala was successful because she wanted to win the war.
