space ship that Neil had landed with. They believe that when it thrusted back into the air so it could land, they figured there would be a big crater or some marks, but there was not. Conspiracy theorists also attacked at the pictures that they took while on the moon. In one of the most famous pictures they looked at the flag. The flag was all wavy like it is windy on the moon, but without oxygen there can be no presence of wind. They also talked about some of the shadows in the picture, along with the foot prints of the astronauts, and how in one of the pictures if you look closely at the astronauts helmet, you can see the camera crew and other astronauts that should not be there through his helmet. In 1999, there was a poll that showed many as six percent of the population believes that the moon landing is a hoax, five percent are undecided, and the rest believe in it. The first manned space craft that landed on the moon is called Apollo eleven. Neil Armstrong with Buzz Aldrin landed on July 20, 1969. Neil and Buzz had collected lunar material for when they returned to Earth they would have samples of the ground. They had claimed to only stay for two and a half hours and then launched back to the Earth. When on the moon, the astronauts put down a special designed United States flag on to the lunar surface. They had sat it in front of the camera. There is a lot of third party evidence claimed that the moon landing was staged and also real. One of the claims is that the Chandrayaan-one space craft, the resolution recorded evidence of lighter, disturbed soil around the Apollo sight. Some of the evidence makes it hard for the Americans to believe it is fake, and real. They don’t know what to think. Most Americans think that the Russians are the ones coming up with these theories and ideas. This makes it easier to believe that these conspiracies are fake. Then again most people do not trust the government either so they are easily lead to think that the government did stage this moon landing for money. Some scientists also believed that the astronauts could not have survived the trip because they were exposed to some radiation from the Van Allen belt. Many of the conspiracists thought that the Starfish Prime was a failed attempt because of this belt with radiation. They also ask who filmed Neil Armstrong stepping onto the moon, because if he was the first to step onto the moon, how did they get the camera out there to see it. I believe that the Moon landing was not a hoax or fake.
There is not enough evidence, and it would have been really hard to hide it, if it were a fake or hoax. I do no agree with the conspiracy of the moon landing being staged. Some of the claims I can believe is that the flag is waving like it is windy, but there would be no wind up there unless the astronaut just passed by the flag and took the picture. But I have never been there so I don’t know how it works. As for the crater landing spot. I think it is a little fishy there is no takeoff spot, or smoke or dust created by the landing. But claims have been made that the land was messed with a little with the higher resolution cameras. On the official website I think it is more convincing that it is real, because it talks about all the evidential claims about seeing the Apollo landing area, and many different third party
claims. Conspiracies exist because there are many non-believers out there. If there were not any conspiracies then the world would be a different place. There would not be as many people like politicians for example. If everyone just agreed with what they say, then there would be no big debates, and there would be only one supreme ruler, controlling everything, for instance North Korea. That ruler, what he says goes, you don’t disagree or you get killed
