Some grew a fear of Agoraphobia because they couldn't handle the intense havoc outside that felt safe inside their home because it was the safety line. A few grew pyrophbia due to the chaotic flame that were all over the place that induce fear in them. But the most common fear that everyone had was paranoia because they had the fear that the riot would continue more. For example in the LA time newspaper they report, "Merchants from South Los Angeles to Mid-Wilshire to Koreatown arm themselves with shotguns and automatic weapons to protect against looters and firebombs." This what happens to people when their paranoia takes over and decides what they do.
This next part is about someone who has firsthand experience about the Rodney King riots. This person survived and experience the same paranoia when it was over. My 57 year old mother Ana G. Fuentes, she has seen what type of mayhem and damages that had laid waste to Los Angeles. She talk about how the riots were the most dangerous moment in her life living in L.A. She talks about how scary it was seeing and surviving the riots. As well as how she suffer after it and moved pasted it. So she can continue living without the paranoia consuming
