Cognitive development
The most important role what the Early year practitioner must keep on eye on that when the early year’s settings have to be planned carefully to benefit their holistic development. At the all stages of children development the only role is to plan out and do activities with children to aid the cognitive development.
Cognitive development contains the construction of thought process, help to know how we use what we already learned, involves the development of conceptual and conscious thought, memory, problem solving, imagination and creativity. Being able to do these things means that children can develop their own ideas relating to what they are finding out about the world. It is very important for children to trust the person caring for them to feel happy and secure to learn and discover the world.
The emotional environment needs to picture multiplicity and we must avoid any boring and stereotypical images, children prefer the easily adapted space for learning
All child irrespective of their background and no child should be prejudiced against.

Holistic development means identifying that children`s physical, cognitive, linguistic, emotional and social development are connected.
