Borton invented the Discroll cycle, which had three key questions what?, so what? and now what? for paramedic reflection after an incident and a nurse’s reflection after receiving a letter from a family. A key case study was done by a qualified nurse. The what? looks at the description of the event, so what role did the nurse manage or did the nurse notice crucial piece evidence that could be the obstacle. The so what? looks at the analysis of the event, so focuses on the emotions that surrounded the incident. Finally, now what? looks at the actions after the event, so did the nurse accommodate the time to complete relevant paper work to explain in detail what happened during the incident and learnt through reflection how to modify their steps of action to change the outcome (Rolfe, 2014).

The NMC provide sufficient training to provide the greatest standard of care and treatment to patient –but also their families, protect patient’s safety –so confidentially of personal detail that they personal want to not tell family members –but also not to spread anything on social media or talk about patients out of hospital environment, as breaks NMC codes promote professionalism by sharing personal details. The correct showing of promote professionalism is for a nurse to be organised by having appropriate appearance which is expected of a nurse, so a clean smart uniform but also to abide the laws of the health care
