Evaluation of a Business In this paper I will discuss University Hospitals Case Medical Center’s Code of Ethics and how it affects, employees, manager, and the Board of the Directors. This hospital has very high professional and ethical standards, have to be followed by everyone involved in the organization. Our world-renowned health care network is anchored by our flagship facility, University Hospitals Case Medical, this 1,032 registered bed academic medical center and tertiary-care hospital is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of America 's best hospitals in medical and surgical specialties. It composes three centers of excellence: Ireland Cancer Center, MacDonald Women’s Hospital, and Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital; and The Center for Clinical Research, the largest medical research center in Ohio (University Hospitals, 2009). The mission statement for University Hospitals Case Medical Center is To Heal. To Teach. To Discover. UH has a relativistic ethical system. The people who work in this organization work in a complaint and ethical work environment. The company is committed in giving a great workplace atmosphere that is made of honest and open sources of communication, pride, camaraderie, professional ethics and integrity, fairness, and many opportunities to grow within the company. Employees UH recognizes that the employees are the greatest asset to the company. UH code of ethics allows equal opportunity and a place of employment in which the employees are treated fairly, and with much respect. The company complies with all regulations, and rules that has to do with nondiscrimination. Most importantly, there will be
