On morning of September 11, 2001 a disaster occurred in the United States due to the terrorist attacks. I love that you guys are talking about 9/11 in your classroom. That is something that I thought we would discuss in my classroom, however, we did not. I think that 9/11 is important to share with the children of today. It makes it a more meaningful concept because many of us where alive during this time. It is wonderful that you and your CT are able to engage kindergarten students with such a serious and tragic topic. Adults don't give children enough credit when it comes to understanding and learning about topics of this nature.
