Everyday By David Leviathan Analysis

How would you think it would make you feel if you could switch bodies every single day of your life and never go back to that same body again? David Levithan wrote the book Everyday. Our main characters that you will see more than once throughout the story is A, Rhiannon, Justin, Nathan, Reverend Poole and Alexander. This book is about a “it” which goes by the name of A. Throughout this story, A switches bodies every day since A was born. Every day there's a new story with a new person. A creates some rules for “it” to follow while going through what “it” does each day. A learns not to get close to anyone because there was no point to get close. A would have to leave the next day anyways and that person wouldn’t even know that “it” was there.
A bends the rules for her because “it” could see there was something special in her that “it” did not see in anyone else. Day by day went by and all “it” could think about was Rhiannon. A was in Nathan’s body and “it” heard there was a party going on and “it “ knew Rhiannon was going to be there. A meet Rhiannon as Nathan at the party and they talked and danced together at the party. Nathan had a curfew but A lost track of time, pulled to the side of the road and it was about that time for A to change bodies. Nathan woke up the next morning and knew there was something that wasn’t right about what happened last night. Nathan began to wonder and talked to the Reverend about what happened. They started to assume and figured it was a devil. A eventually told Rhiannon who “it” was explained everything to her that “it” knew. It was hard for Rhiannon to believe it at first but she came around
