Advocates come in various shapes and sizes as well. A lobbyist can be anything from a high-powered former political leader to a volunteer social worker with little or no training.
In the case study of Social Work Policy: Children and Adolescents, Susanna is a 15 yrs. of age Caucasian female who lives at home with her 12 yrs. of age sister and her parent in a middle-class suburban neighborhood. Susanna family has been involved with the child protected services for over a period of six months due to truancy. The strategy that I will apply to this case study will be “Attendance Improvement Strategies.”
I will inform Susanna as well as her family how important for Susanna not to be missing school. I will bring awareness about the disciplinary action of chronic absence and truancy. I will identify with the family by addressing factors contributing to chronic absenteeism and habitual truancy, including suspension and expulsion. In last, elaborate the important of being in
