I agree with this comment in which Offred made. Although, she may not die from the outside, but she is on the inside from the loneliness. She is unhappy, everyone she loved is either dead or elsewhere from what the narrator believes. In the novel, the narrator has no one to seek comfort. Offred thinks that in the society, there will be no one that will love her or accept her. If I was the narrator in this novel, I would have felt the same way as she did. As I wouldn’t have someone to see me as a human being. Not a someone that can give birth to a child. A human that has opinions, thoughts and a voice. I wouldn't want decisions to be
