Brazilian history is a very broad subject, but in order to do so I am going to cover some basic factual information about the physical geography, terrain, weather and its impact on the country, people, military, and conflict history. This information will be helpful for others to understand more about a piece of Brazilian history as well as present day facts. History is very important matter that will help people understand where things began and why they have become what they are today. Brazil's physical environment and climate vary immensely from the tropical North to the temperate South. The landscape is dominated by a central highland region known as the Brazilian Highlands or the Plateau of Brazil. It also contains the massive Amazon Basin which encompasses nearly one third of the entire country. The Amazon basin is home to the largest river in the world the Might Amazon. Despite its large population, Brazil's demographic density is relatively low.
