The dystopian society doesn’t show or tell how they feel. For example, the dystopian society has a hard time projecting their feelings to other people. On page 98 in F451 Guy says, “ Go home and think of your first husband divorced and your second husband killed in a jet and you third husband blowing his brains out, go home and think of the dozen abortions you’ve had, go home and think of that and your god damn Caesarean sections, too, and your children who hate your guts!Go home and think how it all happened and what did you ever do to stop it?” This showed that Montag was angry and finally telling Mildred how he feels and what he is feeling. The dystopian society doesn’t show feelings towards other people and just do what they want in the moment and don’t think about how anything can benefit the future. Also, on page 7-8 in F451 Clarisse asked Montag if he was happy, happy with Mildred, happy with his life. He said yes but Clarisse could tell how he wasn’t happy from only knowing him for a couple minutes. Similarly both of our societies struggle with feelings and the first thing people go to is drugs, in each world the people have problems with drug abuse or suicides and it's because people don’t tell others how they feel or if they need help which ends badly in most cases. However, in our society we have doctors to go to to get help or to talk to like: Dr. Phil, Oprah, etc. or other tv
