Examples Of Heroism In Beowulf
What does a hero look like in there Society? How would other heros do in their Society to make them a Legend? The Heroic qualities of Beowulf and my Fictional Character shows there valves in their Societies. The Definitions of Values is who someone is as a person and shows hows they can be a hero and help others in a society. Secondly, how people look at the hero and what they think of that hero do they think he is good or bad, strong and mighty, weak and frail, agile and sneaky are some of the stuff the people in their society could think. Lastly, how they made a mark on the society they are in, how they will be remembered as legends in time. The similarities of the the two character, Beowulf and Green arrow. In the story Beowulf it talks
about a young man named Beowulf who fights a monster named Grendel, by Beowulf fighting this monster and winning the battle it shows Beowulf is a Brave person that will fight for this Similarly, Green arrow is also a Brave person just like Beowulf do to the fact that Green Arrow fight crime and has to do it daily to save his city.
Green arrow is a pretty smart person he makes arrow to do anything really to freeze people, uses explosive tipped arrows to his advantage and also has a grapple arrow so he can uses to get from building to building, but Beowulf is just as smart as Green arrow, by the fact that Beowulf surprise attacked Grendel in the story showing he his Intellectual just in a different way then Green arrow. Lastly, they both have good strength in the end by both of them stop bad stuff in the end and saving the people of their Societies they both have a lot of things in common, but also have a good deal of differences as well.
Beowulf isn’t really the same as Green do to the fact that Beowulf in physical strength based on him being able to rip Grendel’s arm off in the middle of battle and saving it as a trophy. Green arrow is different in physical strength because his is more on the side of him having to shot his bow and arrows, and also a lot of running which would make Green arrow more Agile than Beowulf because Beowulf is more of a Heavy hitter. The Combat style of both of them are really different, Green arrow uses well a Bow and arrows to do fighting with more ranged rather than close-Combat, Beowulf on the other hand is more of a Close-Combat person, he likes to get up close and deal heavy hits like how he faced Grendel’s mother and welded the Sword of Giants and could swing it to cut Grendel’s mother head off. Lastly, Intellectual of both the characters are somewhat different but still different Beowulf is more of a Brutal Intellect based on how he used his trap at hrothgar's hall and let one of his men die to see how attack ways but after that first one died he charged in head first to kill Grendel. On the other hand, Green arrow his more of a perspective intellect do to the fact that he has to aim with a bow and arrow, and uses smart tactics to outsmart his enemy and to get the upper hand against them.
