just a few of many different examples. Other examples include religion, race, and gender. These judgements against people are taken way too far.
We can find examples of this here in our own country such as the judgements made against colored individuals in our society, the unfair treatments and judgements against blacks by white cops. If we look back it's happened all throughout history too, the Germans judged all Jews and sent them away to concentration camps. “Three days later, a new decree: every Jew had to wear the yellow star. (Wiesel 11)” they judged all jews and gave them all stars to send them away. This is taking a judgment way to far because you are stereotyping a whole race and treating them badly for no good
reason.
There are many often negative effects on society due to these judgements. When Scout heard her father being called "'nigger-lover'"( Lee 87). She took high offense and this is an example of society being torn apart by judgements. Society was torn apart because the judgements forced people to pick sides and separate. In Prom Night in Mississippi, the segregated prom affected society because it supported the neglect of negroes and society was torn apart by it. It once again forced society to pick sides and both sides were angered. Decision making is essential in society, but judgements against people for things they cannot control is more often the case than not. Judgements are made against people all the time for things they cannot control. These judgements against people are taken way too far. There are many often negative effects on society due to these judgements. So whether you like it or not, now you know that judgments are apart of everyday life.
