In the beginning of this play Macbeth and his good friend Banquo come into contact with three witches. These witches tell the two of them there future. For Macbeth it was you're going to be a king and the king of all kings. As for Banquo it was as good for him but for his children it is very promising. He will be the father to a great line of kings. They tell him he cannot be killed by a man of woman born, and also that his rule will come to an end when the forest moves. Macbeth doesn't think any of these things are possible. Now macbeth is relaxing and not worried about anything. So when he is told that the forest is moving towards their castle he isn't prepared. The forest moving was actually a group that used leaves as camouflage. Then in this battle he fights with Macduff. Macduff was a baby that was of doctor born and that means his mother had a C section. Macbeth is kill by macduff and this shows that the prophecy of the witches was true in its entirety.
Ambition is the thing that killed Macbeth. If he wasn't so greedy he wouldn't of done all the horrible things he did to become king. Lady Macbeth was another big factor in this play. If she hadn't of made her husband macbeth do the things he did they would both be alive. She died because she was so guilty. So does this mean that Macbeth's tragic flaw was ambition or was it his ambitious wife lady macbeth which is the one that give him the ideas to what he did.
