One trait that reveals the human side of Odysseus is his pride. Odysseus has a great amount of pride, and he doesn’t know how to control it. During the story, Odysseus gets caught up in his pride and says, “I say Cyclops! If ever any one asks you who put out your ugly eye, tell him your blinder was Odysseus…” (Rouse 117).
