Examples Of Sergeant Truehitt Report
I am writing to inform you of a situation with Sergeant Truehitt and Officer Luallen. The relationship they share outside of the workplace is now affecting me, and others. He allows her to accompany him in conversation in the watch office while others who are assigned to the floor work harder. However, when I approached him about the situation he stated “Stegall that is not true”. She remains off the floor for hours and he fail to correct her in her wrong doing. Officer Luallen disrespects the inmates, and then leaves the floor for the other Officers to deal with it. She makes excuses as to why she is unable to assist us. It was brought to sergeant Truehitt’s attention on many occasions, but he seems to ignore that a problem do exist. This

The philosophical approach Captain Strong should consider taking is the deontology approach. The deontology approach relates to the relationship between duty and the morality of human actions ("Encyclopedia Britannica", 2014). She has an obligation of duty to hear her employee’s concerns and frustration and a moral obligation to improve them. One major concern is that complaints are on a rise. This could be a direct reflection of the attitudes the officers carry due to their feeling of dissatisfaction within the department. Creating a program that allows officers to patrol with another officer can help to alleviate this issue. Having a true partner during shift can motivate officers to complete their duties on a more satisfactory level. This will also help with the excessive workload the officers are overwhelmed by.…

She has spent 18 years working through the ranks to achieve this high of a position in her agency and she is familiar with the internal problems her agency has a problem with. All the patrol officers believe they have a heavy workload and complain that they go from one incident to the next and spend too much time generating reports. The patrolmen fell that they have to cut corners to get their preliminary investigations completed because the time consumed generating reports. The patrol officers do not interact with each other except during shift change and roll call. I do not believe that Sergeant Williams made a sound operational decision at all. He knew what kind of man the FTO was and did nothing about it before or now. The man is married and has kids, and everyone knows that he is a ladies man and they let him get away with it (More & Miller, 2014). That is sexual harassment just waiting to happen. The Sergeant is just as liable as the FTO when it comes to sexual harassment. Sexual harassment can be any unwelcome sexual advances, verbal comments, or any sexual nature of any kind (“Sexual Harassment”, n.d.). Just because it was not unwelcome with Officer Roberts does not mean there were not women or men in the past that found his ladies’ man attitude offensive. Sergeant Williams thought that Officer Roberts could hold her own against men like the FTO and put them in their place if need be, so he never thought there would be an issue if he put the two of them together. I think that deep down he thought that Roberts would tell him off and put him in his place, like so many others should have. Like he wants to and does not have the guts to do. Williams should never have let the FTO train anyone with the attitude that he has. Sergeant Williams should have known it would cause problems sooner or…

A few days ago, I SPC Ensley, was caught lying to SGT Henshaw about, my whereabouts, why I did not contact him before, or when I was leaving, and as well as my reason for hiding that information in the first place. I should not have attempted to withhold that information, and give out false information on where I was, and why I, SPC Ensley, wasn't honest about it when SGT Henshaw asked in the first place. I had no reason to lie, nor did I show any hint of any of the army values that an enlisted military personnel who is a non commissioned officer in training would normally portray to younger, more impressionable soldiers in our unit.…
