Examples Of Short Term Academic Goals

There are a great deal of short term academic goals that I would like to accomplish this year. The paramount goal I am setting out to accomplish this year is to graduate valedictorian of my high school class. I have worked diligently my whole high school career to put myself in contention of being one of the top students of my class. Along with this cardinal goal of mine comes many subgoals that need to be accomplished in order for my paramount goal to be successful. Those include getting all A’s and performing at my highest level in all my classes this year. In addition to my highschool goals this year I am setting out to accomplish my goal of getting into Berkeley or UCLA with as much financial aid and scholarships possible. Although these are short term goals they play a vital role in all of my long term goals academically, professionally, and personally.
Chronologically ordered, my first long term goal I am setting out to accomplish is getting an undergraduate degree in neuroscience and neurobiology. I would like to attain this neuroscience and neurobiology degree from the university of California Berkeley or the University of California Los Angeles. After getting a degree in neuroscience and neurobiology I would like to achieve my most valuable goal of all which is going to medical school. Once I have completed medical school my last major academic goal I would like set out to accomplish is getting into a good residency program for neurosurgery or
